The year 2024 was marked by a historic achievement for Forró Biscoito at the Itaúnas National Forró Festival (FENFIT). The band took home four trophies after being nominated for 7 out of 9 categories.
Since 2011, Forró Biscoito has been spreading the joy and tradition of forró wherever it goes. Initially, the band stood out in the south of Bahia, and in 2019, it began a new phase with Júlio Biscoito's move to Minas Gerais. Since then, it has been gaining more and more prominence, participating in important festivals and cultural events, always bringing with it the essence of traditional forró.
Forró Biscoito continues its journey performing on many stages with a rich and varied repertoire, the band promises many other achievements and unforgettable moments for its fans.

About Júlio Biscoito
Júlio Biscoito is a Brazilian Popular Music artist with over 20 years of career. Born in Bahia and based in Minas Gerais, he is a multifaceted artist who stands out as a multi-instrumentalist, singer, composer and producer.
His passion for music manifested from a very early age. He started with a toy keyboard at the age of 6 and at the age of 8, he was already playing the guitar. He also learned musical instruments such as cavaquinho, triangle, zabumba, and others. Always self-taught, he became a true master in the art of expressing himself musically.
Biscoito has a career rich in collaborations and has had the privilege of play his cavaquinho along many bands, such as Trio Maracá, Trio Nordestino, Edson Duarte, Erivaldinho, Jorge do Rojão, Nando Nogueira, Trio Xamego, Os Cangaceiros, PH do Acordeon, Jó Miranda, Estrela de Ouro, Trio Balancê, among many others.
Júlio also masters other rhythms, such as Samba, Pagode, MPB and Axé, truly representing the diversity of Brazilian music. His Afro-Brazilian roots and his experience in various regions celebrate the cultural diversity and richness of Brazilian traditions. His talent and dedication continue to enrich the music scene, whether on stage or in the studio, bringing his joy and energy wherever he goes.

In addition to performing on stage, Biscoito works in the studio as a music producer and recording technician, producing jingles, advertising pieces, his own works and collaborating with other artists, using his experience in recording and mixing.
His work as a studio musician is recognized for his recordings on memorable albums by Forró artists, such as the album Energia by Jorge do Rojão, which contains the great hit Forró na Neve, and the albums Tradicional e Muderninho, Na Bahia Tem Forró, and Viver a Vida by PH do Acordeon, the album 15 anos de Estrada by the band Estrela de Ouro, the album Puro e Natural by Mestre Gernaro, which was mastered at Abbey Road studios, and singles by several artists such as Fabiano Santana, Os Cangaceiros, Trio Tarrabufado, Erivaldinho, Mike Clandestino, among others.
Since 2012, he has been actively involved in producing jingles for political campaigns throughout Brazil, as well as jingles for advertising campaigns for companies in various sectors.
